I’m Annika Grier, an illustrator and comic artist specializing in character-driven storytelling, sequential art, and digital illustration. I love creating expressive artwork that brings characters, stories, and ideas to life.

I earned my B.A. in Design from UC Davis, where I focused on comic art and illustration. My work includes published comic illustration, storyboarding, character design, and collaborative visual storytelling projects. In 2025, I co-illustrated a comic about pioneering cartoonist Barbara Brandon-Croft published in Studies in Comics.

When I’m not drawing, you can usually find me watching K-dramas, Studio Ghibli films, or anime. :)

I’m currently available for freelance, contract, and full-time opportunities in illustration, comics, storyboarding, and related visual storytelling work!
